Educational Administration & Human Resource Development
The Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development (EAHR) develops educational leaders and improves practice through teaching, research and service in the areas of public school administration, human resource development, higher education administration, adult education and student affairs administration. Statewide and nationally, EAHR graduates, faculty and staff play major roles in the education of children and adults.
The Department of Educational Psychology (EPSY) is the largest producer of special and bilingual education teachers in the State of Texas. Students are prepared to become state and national leaders across a variety of disciplines, and high-achieving faculty members use their research to impact the lives of people in Texas and around the country, specifically in the area of child and adult psychology.
Health & Kinesiology
The Department of Health & Kinesiology (HLKN) is the largest academic department at Texas A&M University and is ranked first in class count and student enrollment generating over 85,000 credit hours and 158,000 weighted student credit hours each year. The department is comprised of four divisions: Health Education, Kinesiology, Sport Management and the Physical Education Activity Program that offer a number of degree programs and outreach programs for continuing education of students and the community.
Teaching, Learning & Culture
The Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture (TLAC) encompasses students, faculty and staff whose efforts and interests center on the many different aspects of academics, teaching and classroom education. TLAC’s mission is to prepare educators and researchers to build inclusive democratic communities in schools and society through critical and reflective research, teaching and service.
