Aggie STEM Center Faculty Publish Book on STEM Learning

Four faculty from the Aggie STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Center, housed in the College of Education and Human Development, published a new book titled, A Companion to Interdisciplinary STEM Project-Based Learning.

Robert Capraro, Mary Margaret Capraro, Jim Morgan and Jim Scheurich compiled 24 project-based learning (PBL) lesson plans that were co-written with STEM teachers. The lesson plans, which have been used successfully in urban high school classrooms, cover subjects in science, engineering, mathematics, geography and language arts.

Robert Capraro is an associate professor in the department of Teaching, Learning and Culture (TLAC). Mary Margaret Capraro is an assistant professor in TLAC. Jim Scheurich is a professor in the department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development. Jim Morgan is an associate professor in the Zachry Department of Civil Engineering.
