CAHRL Students Win at Student Research Week

Congratulations to undergraduate students Christine Piwonka and Marissa Cadena from the Child & Adolescent Health Research Lab for winning two awards at the Texas Student Research Week presentations.The students, lead by doctoral student Reynolette Ettienne-Gittens, won the session award for the poster "The Correlations between Acculturation, Maternal and Child Preference, and Fried Food Consumption," and a second place award in "Taxonomy of Active Living/Public Health."

This year's Student Research Week was well received, with over 300 participants in the poster sessions.  We are proud of all the "CAHRLites" who took park in this year's poster session!
