CEHD To Honor Faculty, Staff And Alumni At Celebration In October

Outstanding faculty, staff and alumni will be honored at the College of Education and Human Development awards celebration at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 30th, 2015.  The celebration will be held at the Anneberg Presidential Conference Center.
 
The honorees of the Association of Former Students College-Level Distinguished Achievement Award for Teaching are Dr. Nathan Clemens, Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, and Dr. Jeffery Liew, Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology.
 
Dean’s Development Council Awards honorees are Dr. James Fluckey, a Professor in the Department of Health and Kinesiology.  He will be awarded the Extraordinary Service Faculty Award.  Dr. Adam Barry, Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Kinesiology, will be honored with the Outstanding New Faculty Award and Justin Smith, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Advising in the Dean’s Office will be honored with the Outstanding Staff Award.
 
The honoree of the Outstanding Mentor Award is Dr. Jeffery Liew, Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology.
 
Outstanding Alumni honorees include Dr. E. Brooks Applegate III ’86, Trevor M. Burt ’95, Dr. Meixia Ding ’05, Dr. Barbara Teague Polnick ’99 and Dr. Eun Sook Kim ’11.
