Guidry Receives Hawkins Distinguished Scholar Award

Jeffrey Guidry, professor in health education in the Department of Health & Kinesiology, was awarded the Frank T. Hawkins Distinguished Scholar Award from the Research Association of Minority Professors (RAMP) at their annual conference.

The award is presented to a member of RAMP who has made significant contributions to the field of knowledge regarding their discipline and has become recognized for those achievements by other leaders in the field.

The Research Association of Minority Professors is an educational and scientific research organization founded in 1975 by Dr. Frank T. Hawkins at Prairie View A&M University.
