HLKN Begins Search for Assistant/Associate Professor of Sport Management

The Department of Health and Kinesiology is searching for a new faculty member for the sport management division.

Applications and nominations are invited for an assistant/associate professor of sport management, tenure track, in the sport management division within the Department of Health and Kinesiology at Texas A&M University. The position requires an earned doctorate in sport management or a related field. Applicants must demonstrate higher education teaching experience, and an established research agenda.

Responsibilities include teaching (both live and by distance) undergraduate and/or graduate courses in at least one of the following areas:  Sport Marketing, Sport Finance and Economics, Sport-related Analytics, Research in Sport Management, or related areas; seeking and securing external funding to support faculty and graduate student research; conducting research and sharing findings through scholarly publications and presentations; serving on departmental committees; and serving on graduate committees.
