The Division of Health in the Department of Health & Kinesiology at Texas A&M University teamed up with the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC) to host "The Perfect Pitch: How to Market Yourself as a CHES/MCHES" webinar on November, 15, 2012. The webinar was geared not only to toward Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) certifications, but included students, professionals, health employers, and non-CHES/MCHES people who are interested in getting certified.
Nearly 850 people registered for the webinar, which included four panelists who flew in from all over the country.

Alton, MSPH, CHESChief Executive Officer, SC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy Amber Muenzenberger, Director of the Office of Digital Learning Technologies (DLT), played a significant role in making the webinar work technically and Dr. Kelly Wilson, Associate Professor, coordinated the on campus visit"It was great exposure for the division. The opportunity allowed the division to market its undergraduate and graduate programs. It also provided an opportunity for the DLT to showcase the technology available to our faculty, staff, and students," said Muenzenberger.
Muenzenberger said the DLT is grateful for the opportunity to work with NCHEC for their yearly national webinar and hopes to continue the partnership in the future.
