One Day Conference on Technology for Educators

The Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture (TLAC) in the College of Education & Human Development is pleased to announce the second annual Conference on Technology in Education: Connect & Engage. The event will kick off on May 1, 2015 in rooms 110 and 111 in the Koldus Building at Texas A&M University with breakout sessions in MSC 2500 - 2500.

This exciting and innovative conference will bring together a variety of nationally and internationally known speakers to explore the multiple ways in which technology can be authentically integrated into classroom instruction and learning.  Speakers will highlight best practices, promising approaches and practical and accessible resources and tools that pre-service and in-service teachers can use immediately.

  • Conference presenters will focus on such topics as:
  • Using mobile devices in classrooms
  • Adopting inquiry based approaches to technology
  • Creativity and technology
  • …and many more
