Student Spotlight: Sarah Moudy

Sarah Moudy is from Plano, Texas where she began her dance training at Toby’s School of Dance. In 2009, she was selected as a VIP/Assistant Teacher with Dance Olympus Company to tour the United States over the summer. She danced with the Moscow Ballet for over five years and did over fifteen performances.

After entering the Texas A&M University Dance Program, Ms. Moudy has worked with guest artists Holly Schmidt, Jane Weiner, Kathy Dunn Hamrick, Jenny Barlow, and Allison Orr as well as taken a master class from Merry Lynn Morris. Ms. Moudy has recently performed in the annual Perpetual Motion performance and the Student Choreography show through the TAMU Dance Program, and has also had the opportunity to showcase her own choreography in the Composition I and II shows.

She has also completed her Senior Concert, “What Words Can Not Say”, in which she choreographed and produced the show with two other graduating seniors. In addition to performance, she has worked behind the scenes as production manager, stage hand, box office, and house manager in over five shows.
