Seventeen Texas educators were honored for their commitment to education at the annual Dean's Roundtable of the College of Education and Human Development on April 24, 2009.

The Dean's Roundtable began in 1991 as a special occasion for recognizing educators across the state. Since its beginning, over 275 educators have been honored for their service and accomplishments as educators, role models and colleagues. The honorees provide excellent examples of how Texas educators have the potential to transform lives across the state.

The honorees include current staff member Linda Key and former faculty members Robert Armstrong and Diane Kaplan.

Local Bryan/College Station recipients include Rick Hill, Ruth Littlefield, Cindy Riley and Michele Ward.

Brazos Valley honorees include Jeremy Cole and Brandon Core.

Houston area recipients include Nancy Badger, Mark Bedell, Anna Davila, Diane Jackson, Leah Rae Marchand and Claudine Simpson.

Other recipients include Gloria Daniels of Fort Worth and Shannon Kuester Reinhardt of Yoakum.
