Thirty-Eight students in the College of Education and Human Development are being recognized by the Office of the Commandant of the Corps of Cadets for achieving academic excellence.
This semester, these Corps members are wearing a gold or silver star above the right pocket of their uniform.  Gold stars are awarded to those cadets who post a 4.0 GPR with a minimum of 12 hours the previous semester.  Silver stars are awarded to cadets earning a 3.5 GPR with a minimum of 12 hours the previous semester.
“It’s exciting to see students that can balance the involvement in the Corps of Cadets with rigorous academic accomplishments.  We are very proud of the hard work and dedication of these students and look forward to the many ways they will transform lives once they leave A&M,” said Dr. Joyce Alexander, Dean of the College of Education and Human Development.
