Their research work, “Exploring the Diversity and Enrollment Trends of Texas A&M University Through Music,” took Texas A&M enrollment statistics from 1999 and 2014 and set that data to computer generated music where gender influenced melody/bass, and ethnic diversity contributed to musical effect. Additionally, age difference (getting younger), contributed to the change in tempo.

On Christmas Day 2011, Nikki Altman received news that would change her life forever. Her husband, Staff Sergeant Joseph Altman, was killed in active duty while serving in Afghanistan. Three years later, a scholarship from the Pat Tillman Foundation and enrollment in the College of Education and Human Development’s human resource development bachelor’s degree program gave her life new purpose.
